Special Event- Duel Masters

Nope, not that card fight anime. Ehh..but I have to say it's related to!

so! here's the cave, cardfighters! and you'll see arena.. with both side having the usual card fight deck! But instead of going 2 on 2, it lets you fight..whoever in the arena!

There is a strange statue there moving, and you can hear the announcement!

"WELCOME TO THE FIRST KATOLI's ANCIENT BATTLE! HERE YOU WILL DUEL WITH YOUR SKILL! THE WINNER WILL WIN SPECIAL ITEM TO HELP YOU GET OUT OF THIS ISLAND! ARE YOUUU REAAAADY??! GET INTO YOUR POSITION"

[Rio just happens to have wander in this "secret" (or not?) special arena. At hearing the announcement she wonders something, taking out her dueling deck. The first card shown on the bottom of her deck is her ace monster: Sylphine, the Sub-Zero Ice Beast (Ice Beast, Zerofyne).]

"Are they referring to Duel Monsters...? Or another game?"

[Cause that's bout the only "dueling" she knows. Are they referring to regular Duel Monsters? Or the more brutal Yami no Game? Or something else? Does this island has its own trading card game? There are many types of games announcer! Hellppp.]

"No. It's actually Pokemon card battle"

[HE MIGHT BE KIDDING. HA. TAKE THAT. IMA TROLLING ADMIN]

"Po...kemon...? What is that?"

[She's never heard of such a thing boss. And where is this voice coming from????]

"YOU DON'T KNOW POKEMON?! ARE YOU EVEN WORTH LIVING HERE!

Ahem. please carry on. We don't really have our own card so please use your own deck. "

[Whoa, that sudden outburst took her by surprise. *sweatdrop*]

"I-I see. Thanks anyway."

[And now she's even more curious about the person behind this statue. What would happen if someone were to break it? Not that she would anyway. Maybe Would they find someone inside? Or could it really be hollow?

Also, she wonders if anyone else would show up...]

[Ren was walking around as he saw someone familiar entered the cave. He followed and saw the blu haired lady standing, with some cards on her hand.

It was then the statue started talking.

THE WINNER WILL WIN SPECIAL ITEM TO HELP YOU GET OUT OF THIS ISLAND.]

"Hmmmmm..."

[He's currently enjoying his stay in this island, but then he wanted to have something insured for him to go back anytime.]

"So how do we play this game, statue-san?"

[Rio was standing with her arms crossed over her stomach. She appears in thought over something. And then, she heard footsteps, another person arrives within the cave. She glances back at the corner of her eyes to see who it was--a familiar red-head. She decided to greet him with a friendly smile.]

"Ren-san... I was starting to doubt anyone else would show."

[And he brings up a good point.]

"That's a good question."

"It should be like pokemon battle. Pick your card. the avatar there would automatically come alive, ready to battle! oh for gundam-sized monster or hero, we have to scale them 1/50. sorry for the inconvenience! "

"Then, from my understanding."

[She drew out her ace card monster and raised it up high. The monster should come alive.]

"Arise! Sylphine - the Sub-Zero Ice Siren!"



[And guess who's here, albeit, smaller than usual... *sweat* This is just a test! She doesn't really understand how it happens but, that's pretty sweet.]

"Hmm... so that how it works"

[He looked at the 'monster' Rio summoned and was surprised.]

"I never saw that unit before"

[The red head wanted to summon his avatar, but at the moment, he doesn't have his deck with him when he woke up back in the beach.]

"I'm afraid I might have to pass this chance."

[Sylphine returns back to its card. Rio looks at her card]

"So that's all there is to it. Sylphine..."

[She smiles at Sylphine and at the red-head at hearing him]

"Eh?"

[Translation: Eh = Why?]

"Actually I own a deck too but it's different from yours. I never thought I can see something aside from Vanguard that can summon avatars too.

But unfortunately, I hate to say that I don't have my deck with me at the moment. Either someone have it, or..."

[Yeah, he lost it. Or like it's missing when he came up to his senses at the beach.]

"That's too bad. I don't know what I'd do if I lost mine."

[because what is a Duelist without his/her deck.]

"Well, I hope you find it soon."

"I'll find it."

[He turns back and started to leave.]

"I'll be back when my avatar's with me."
